Best thing you can do is tell her that it's a difficult style to pull off even for experienced lolitas, and suggest she tries something else ("Have you looked at the other styles? I think you'd look stunning in Classic!" etc.) If she's hellbent on trying wa you can try looking for good examples of the style to show her what it's supposed to look like and offer her your help with finding good pieces and putting together a decent coord - not because you want her to ""conform"" but because you want to help her look good.
Having said that, if she doesn't listen and only wants a weeby frilly kimono costume then just leave her to it. There's only much you can do for her and if she doesn't want help that's her decision.

My thoughts as well. The jewellery is a bit of a clusterfuck though, as well as the shoes, top, and hair. The makeup is pretty good for a generic goth look, but just not for lolita, I think.
