I was cosplaying as Afro Rick on Saturday and Sunday. I was planning to cosplay as Gaige (Rule 63) in the afternoon hours but decided not to. I have no regrets doing so.

I'm not the other guy, but I've known him for a while now from college before he got all this fame, and I wouldn't say he's an asshole. He's volunteered a lot for our school and my student organization out of his own time, and having a few conversations with him and bumping into him every so often I think he's pretty alright, it's just that he's so busy nowadays I don't think he has time or energy to remember everyone's names and do everything he wants to do.

I have 2 designs that I commissioned Zach for later this year, and they're both pretty hefty projects. In order to try and keep people from starting them before I can make/debut them, I actually asked him to keep the designs under wraps until I finish. Not a hard concept, and I wish more people would follow this idea if they really don't want others to do a costume before them.

He has the prices up on his page. A basic design is $300, then legendary is I think like $800 and you can get addons like weapons, detail images of certain armor pieces. For both of mine it was I think like $1,000? He lets you pay in installments which makes it easier too.

If you know Dave at all you know that he likes putting his models in uncomfortable and sometimes tight poses to get the right shot (not during con shoots obviously). I never said I wanted to be babied or "let all my photogs fix me," but noticing little flaws should be part of the photographer's job. They're trying to get the best shot after all. Especially when he brings assistants to his shoots specifically for that reason.
