What are some characters that have the same (or nearly the same) measurements as you? Height + weight and/or 3 sizes count.
Do you look like them otherwise? Do you ever plan on cosplaying them? Why or why not?
And how exactly does one find out the measurements of fictional characters? Unless it's a show with a filler "oh let's all go get check ups and have our boobies measured" episode there's no way to tell what size most characters are

I feel too stumpy to do alot of cosplays as my thighs are pretty big from the side (nearly 25 inch circumference) and anime girls are leggy. My butt is also too big for short skirts, there's like 2 inches between my knees and ass I swear. I have DDs but they look small compared to my bottom half so I can't do busty-looking characters. I'm also dark-skinned so I'm probably better off with a non human, part human or humanoid character so I don't ruin someone's waifu.

5'6", 95 cm (30F)/ 70 cm/ 100 cm. Anime girls with big chests never have bust measurements above 90 cm unless they look like Pochaco, so I don't think a character will ever get close to my measurements. Another obstacle is that characters like Nozomi that look wide-hipped always have hip measurements smaller then their bust measurements. I feel like we have really close proportions when I compare myself to her art, though.

Saber is a case of being too small to exist in common sense. Her measurements are 154cm, 42kg, B73/W53/H76. The height/weight combination sounds fine but the 3 sizes need to be bumped up by like 3cm apiece for that weight. T-Thanks Takeuchi!
I'm in the 5'10" 5'11" range (female), but Japan typically considers 5'7" to be the max for tall female characters. Plus most tall characters have massive tatas and/or twig-thin legs, which I don't.

There's not one that I know of, I think most people who know this shit just pay attention to characters they like/want to cosplay to see if they're similar. At least that's what I do.
A database of character proportions might be cool though. There's one where you can find them by traits like name, age, eye/hair color, and stuff like that, but I don't think they have body proportions on there.

It would be convenient. It'd have to be user-submitted data though since there is so many measurements in just about every show. I'm 159cm, around 68kg and my three measurements are 105, 74, 94 cm. I slimmed down mid last year but I put most of it back on for various reasons, but when I was thinner I saw Super Pochaco's measurements and I was spot on for then apart from my waist being a few cm smaller, and my breasts would swell up to around 112 depending on my cycle as well, though now I'm just under her measurements, 107, 79, 94.
I don;t think I would consider cosplaying her though as I don't really know much of her character, I couldn't even get through the Super Sonico anime.

Most of the manga I own gives the measurements. If you are interested in a specific character just google them. A lot of character design information has it written next to them and individual character pages will list them in the stats sidebar.

Lots of otaku enjoy knowing a LOT about a character so tons of writers/artists/whatever of anime and manga will make character info sheets including all kinds of random shit like their body measurements, blood type, favorite foods and god knows what all else.
Just google a characters name and you can probably find a wiki or similar kind of page about them, and if the measurements were ever revealed it will probably have them there.

Even though I know that the official measurements are arbitrary BS and often physically impossible and it's proportions that matter more in cosplay than the exact numbers, I still get a little disappointed that no one ever has hips over 90cm.
