Don't worry, they're plenty big and doorway-obstructing. Each side is 48" from end to end; the gray part of the wing armature is the dimensions of my arm from shoulder to wrist, if that helps you envision the proportions.
I'm going with Thores' paintings as reference because I am enamored of all the weird textures. Doing this outfit, but scaling the wings up because they look silly and un-flightworthy in the illustration.

Just looked up the character, I hope the game makes its funding goals. Have you considered adding more padding to the tiger pelt? The sprite animation makes the arms look pretty rounded, I think it'd look more substantial with a layer of batting or two in there.

Headphones for P4D Narukami and Yosuke. I got some cheap headphones and wallpaper decal sheets from taobao, cut circles and strips out of them, and stuck them on. Not too great up close but ok from a distance/in photos.

Dwarven helmet from skyrim, first time making anything.
Working on this armor from MH4U. Got the arms all patterned out.Trying to figure out the pauldrons and struggling. Every other set I've made has sat on top of the shoulders. Actually...f some kind anon would help or has a suggestion I'd be really grateful!

Now that con season is done for me for the next few months I am going back to focus on finishing Wing Zero. I worked on the shoulder rigging setup tonight. I like the look and feel of it so far though one shoulder needs to be a bit tighter and the helmet needs to sit a few millimeters higher.

I will be the first to admit its inaccurate as hell but I was just glad to be able to produce something my friend liked in the super-short time frame without having to spend a dime. With more time I am sure I could do a better one, but I likely never will as I am not exactly a Castlevania fan.

Sure! It's the Storge S or Philia armor. フィリア if you want to read the Japanese blogs. I've got it half completed. Just have to make the wings, chest, and back now. I have them all patterned on paper though! Also have to figure out how to make the wings removable...that's going to be scary. It's been a bit challenging so far, but I'll start showing finished pieces here soon. Going to start painting on Wednesday!

Posting sleeve paintjob progress.
After making three diferent pairs of sleeves i finally was able to make and paint a stencil that worked and looked decent.
(I honestly don't care if the paint job looks like shit I'm not making another set or any more stencils. it's not worth the tedium)
Earlier this year I did my first "armor" cosplay of Raiden from mgr. First time using EVA foam and my second cosplay ( it was a dumb choice in retrospect due to the time it took ). I didn't know where to get foam at the time so I got a bunch of shitty sheets from a crafts store which were way too thin. I finished the whole thing though so at least I learned something out of it.
There's a con in three weeks and I'm thinking about assembling it into a suit and finishing up the red lighting I had on it. Should I? Or is it just trash really? Shitty quality pic related, pic of part of it assembled on me from when I was still working on it.

Use a leather dressing. It should soften the adhesive without damaging the material.

Wing Zero Custom forearms. These still need weathering and details but I wanted to do a test fit. Each forearm senor eye has 50 LEDs on a multi-function timer. I can have them pulse, flash, stay constant etc.
