It's not even stains. I don't know about pistols, but rifles at least you get a lot of powder residue. When I learned how to shoot the teacher heavily emphasized wearing junk clothes you don't care about, washing your hands immediately and not eating food around recently-fired guns, keeping your "shooting" clothes separate from your regular clothes and a whole long list of other guidelines. Like I said, that's bolt action rifles, not pistols so I'm not sure how much more or less residue you get from pistols but even so.

If you have a lot of itas wanting to attend, stress that meets are no-judgment and accept people for what they bring to the table. Most of that came in the form of well-placed secrets, /cgl/ posts, and gossip to try and manipulate opinions amongst her worshippers in the comm that she placed in elite positions. I met with only mixed success, as she didn't move to protect the comm or her friends, just her own fame. Now that she has voluntarily released her grip, we can repair the fractured connections to the many lolitas that abandoned the comm due to Kate's toxic hold and those who were straight-up ousted by her vehement insistence that anyone who didn't think she was basically god in frills shouldn't be part of the comm. Without her fame and clout, some of the admins can start thinking for themselves, which should be a good thing, as some of them are actually decent human beings that didn't idolize her, at least not when she wasn't around. Perhaps I can enjoy a meetup now without worrying what kind of bullcrap she'll pull next.

For our picnic meets, we usually have one lolita that is stocked with board games and we'll play Headbandz or Apples to Apples or something. Cards Against Humanity if it's at a house and later on in the evening. Asking people to pay money to a game they didn't really agree to playing and is just for fun is a bit silly, I'd say if you want to award prizes get some cute cheap accessories from F21 and some cookies/candy. I really had no interest in firearms before dating my current bf, and, naturally, he had no interest or knowledge of lolita fashion before he dated me, however, over the years, we ended up enjoying eachother's hobbies.
I think it's inevitable over the years. When you are sitting on your bed with your bf, on the computer reading about the latest drama, start laughing, and he wants to know what you are laughing about, you try and explain to him the best you can why you find something funny right? even if he's not in the complete know how.
Or when he's sitting there laughing his ass off over some video he found on /k/, and you snuggle next to him and see what's so funny. and continue to watch a /k/ related video with him.
The times you get super excited when you buy your dream dress and you just want to tell him about it. Or when he asks you want you want from Christmas and you tell him some lolita item and explain why you want it.
There's really no avoiding it, and eventually he got me into guns and I found I really enjoy them. I find the same humor he finds funny now when I watch gun humor videos with him, and at the same time, he's now gotten into Ouji/Kodona/Aristocrat and knows all the brands, how to buy online from japan, and will sit with me and watch deerstalker videos/ lolita related videos or laugh with me when we're browsing threads together.
