Gosh, I really missed this.
It's good to be back, and to see that a single thread managed to last from December 30th, 2015 to February 16th, 2016. I owe it all to the endlessly amazing /c/omrades that contribute daily, and help make the threads, (and indeed the board) what we've all come to love.
Special recognition goes to everyone who's contributed to the ever-expanding archive of images. If, one day, these threads are no longer around, we can still have those to turn to.
For now, however, we do have a new thread - and a new chapter. Here's to everyone who's kept this alive thus far, you have my thanks. Grab a seat, brew some tea, and enjoy another lovely Mugi Thread to keep you cozy on this cold winter night.
Continued from: >>2562488
Spread the love!
That's all for now, friends.
See you tomorrow.
Can I offer my drawfag services in this thread or nah? Would like to draw some Mugi for you guys.
>>2597143
Please do! I'm particularly fond of winter Mugi but I'm sure the other Anons in here (roughly 70 of us now!) would have better requests
>new thread
>>2597064
What font is that?
>>2597289
>important question
Eeeeeehhhhh?
Y-you didn't have to remove it! I was just a bit puzzled and was wondering why you thought it was so important! If you were just curious what others thought, that's OK!
Am I the only one that only really saves traditional (my god, this adjective is retarded and dumb as hell in this context) Mugi images?
I only consider images from the show or high-quality and accurate fanart to be worth saving as opposed to OC.
In my opinion, fanart and more original Mugi images look really distant from her original appearance and character and just look jarring compared to her soft and cute face we all know.
Am I just autistic?
>>2597427
I'm almost the opposite in that I don't like saving screenshots from the show because I could always watch the show to see them, so why save them? Fan art on the other hand gives me something new that I wouldn't normally see, like pic related, and are usually more fun.
>>2597427
I'm mostly the same way. Stuff has to be very close to the original art style for me to save it, though every once in awhile there's something that is very different yet well done or has some element to it that I enjoy.
>>2597427
I used to be like that.
Then I ran out of images to post.
You know, to this day, I still wonder who the originator of these threads was...
The motivated Anon who took it upon themselves to dedicate a whole thread just to Mugi - and keep it going for three whole threads afterwards until it was on page ten - and well, the rest is history.
>>2597687
Phew, what a time it was.
You know, I'm not one to brag, but I'd bet that we're high up there with some of the longest running threads on this site.
Not as long as, say, the IMT threads on /w/. Or tje Weekend Waifu / Learn Japanese threads on /a/, but I'd say we're pretty darn close.
Considering we have never let a single Mugi Thread 404 prematurely in nearly five years is pretty great.
>>2597143
Does anybody have the old threads archived?
>>2597689
*The.
>>2597143
We had an amateur drawfriend named ChickP way back when that took requests and would give us these lovely doodles. I'm sure we'd all love to see your own work - and we don't judge.
>>2597267
That's classified.
>>2597690
Unfortunately, I believe the service that would have kept data from those very first threads has long since been shut down.
Of course, you do a little digging and almost anything can be unearthed.
I'm more or less curious about what the person who posted the first Mugi threads would think if they saw them now.
>>2597693
The furthest back I could find is Thread 22 after some digging of my own - this was before I put on a trip.
Interestingly enough, a few days later the first official Yui thread popped up - which to my knowledge, currently has the highest thread count on this board.
http://4chandata.org/c/Yui-Hirasawa-I-a167498
But hey, who's counting.
>>2597688
Does Clammy still post here?
Clammy I miss you please notice me
>>2597191
Okay! I didn't know if you had anything special in mind when you said "winter Mugi", like a certain outfit or whatever, so I just did her in some winter clothes with a bit of snow. Hope you like it!~
>>2597692
Aw, that's a very sweet sketch. I like her top. & Mugi with her hair up is always a win.
I can't promise they'll all be colored or even fully lined (sometimes I just like sketching), but if you guys wanna make some requests now, fire away!

Perfect!
Mornin' Mugibros. Well, it's 2:10 PM now but I just woke up.
>>2598579
Adorable.
>>2597782
That looks great! Really love the aura Mugi eminates and the eyes are just fantastic! It's in full colour too; you don't even see that in every commission!
I'd ask for another but I'll let someone else suggest something
>>2597427
I feel the same anon, and not only in Mugi's case. Everytime I see fanart with character looking not quite the same as it looks in the show, it just feels like it's different character.
>>2597782
Draw Mugi as the remove kebab guy playing the accordeon and I will forever be in your debt.
Make the beret have the HTT logo on it for added style.
You should be able to find references of this guy on google images, I don't want to waste an image spot of the limit by posting a middle aged slav in a mugi thread.
>>2598796
This, yes
>page 8
Not on my watch.
>>2599488
Who would win in an eyebrow-off? Mugi or Brezhnev?
I've contemplated this question for a long time, but never have I seen such a perfect picture of it! Thanks anon!
>>2599550
>thumbnail
YOU'VE PISSED HER OFF NOW
What do you have to say to your defense?
>>2599535
I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Mugi is an angel who transcends space and time, she was there when the universe came into being, and she will live to see the deaths of a thousand more. Mugi is unstoppable.
>>2599867
The best queen there could be.
>>2599572
Sorry, didn't check the size when I posted it. Forgive me.
>Mugi always headshots
>>2600841
>mugi is high af
Mugi do a wiggle
>>2601357
So cute.
>>2600841
Oh I'm sure she's used to taking headshots
>>2598796
Sorry I couldn't really do it justice! ;A;
Been an off day.
>>2601583
Not bad, she's really expressing her disapproval of kebab
>>2601583
Anon who requested it here.
She could've looked a bit more angry but apart from that, it looks great, nice job man, hope you stick around.
>>2601583
What are you saying, that looks amazing!
Keep up the good work anon!
>>2601583
Anon, c-could you p-perhaps colour it? I-If that's okay w-with you t-that is..
i'm looking for a b&w comic strip in which mugi is experimenting with jokes. in the first panel she delivers, i don't know like, a knee-slapper dad joke maybe, and someone (yui? ritsu?) says, "mugi did you just make a funny?" and the next panel or two i don't remember, and in the last panel she relates a complex joke and the reply (from yui/ritsu) is, "eh? a two-level funny? it's hard to understand!"
i'm hoping someone knows what i'm talking about, i would love to see it again
pic related (Jetsons spaceship sound)
Isn't there a Mugi archive some kind anon set up?
If someone has a link, please post it.
>>2602383
Why yes there is anon! Here's the link:

Anyone bought the DVDs? Is there a version that you guys would recommend?
>>2602635
What do you mean by version? I have all the localized DVDs but after getting a PS3 I wish I had gotten the BDs instead.
>>2602635
Some brave hero needs to find the original artwork for this.
>>2601357
That gif actually made me tear up, that whole scene hits me hard in the feels, I love it so much.
>>2602173
Why people make this kind of shit?
>>2602195
I'll post the whole thing tomorrow.
>>2602864
lewd is perfectly acceptable content.
just not on my /c/
>>2602766
Essentially what I meant was: are they dual audio with subs?
Also, are the BDs natively high-res or are they just the standard upscale?
>>2602923
Dual audio with subs. And considering it's KyoAni I think they are actually 1080, but I'd have to check my BD rips and the DVD side by side to see. I might do that this weekend and just rewatch the whole series.
>>2602864
Because Mugi is sexy.
>>2602869

Mugi comics soon.

waow you went above and beyond there buddy. it's even cuter than i remember. compare my recollection with the actual comic and see how memory alters reality. thanks for busting out all that cute-ass shit
Favorite Mugi song?
>>2604443
https://youtu.be/HYwl6kaImwE
actually I love all of her songs, she has the voice of an angel, but this song makes me feel very relaxed, and this is how I feel when i watch her on the show
>>2601583
Guys, page 9!
I'm on my laptop so the only Mugi picture I have saved is my wallpaper.
anyone have seen Tamako Market?
im sure it probably exists already but i just made this gif after starting my 4th re-watch
>>2597064
Mugi is so lovely!
>>2605834
That's pretty amusing.

Can a brave and talented drawfriend do a Pacha Edit for Mugi?
I need it for scientific research.
>>2605834
What scene is this from?
>>2607569
Finally found it. It's from the extra chapter in the college manga. Probably should have just started with the extras first considering the panel size.
Goodnight, Anon!
Does anybody have the picture with Mugi squatting some weight? tyty
>>2607962
I actually do assuming you mean this one.

Well done!
What if Mugi joined the choir like she intended to?

Why is Mugi so gay and why can't I be gay with her? ;___;
>>2608806
Good shit
I wish you all a nice day, my Mugi bros!
>>2609774
Same to you!
Writing a paper for tomorrow morning, wish me luck friends.
The great thing about Mugi? She's always ready for any situation. Along with everything else that makes her the best.
>>2611532
Good luck!
>>2611532
I'm busy writing an assignment too, good luck! Have a Mugi cake!
>>2611532
good luck!
unrelated but is there anywhere i can grab all of those shorts at once?
>>2612381
Cute!
Don't know where to ask this but do images posted on 4chan keep their EXIF data or not?
I'm asking this here since /c/ is the nicest image-based board I know.
Sage for off-topic.
>>2612652
Well, either I'm retarded or that sage didn't go through.
A Mugi to make up for it.
>>2612664
Holy shit, I just remembered that sage has been invisible for years, I'm double retarded.
>>2612379
An embiggened one. For Mugi.
>>2612718
From what I understand, only /p/ allows for EXIF data to be shown for images - but that makes sense.
If it's of ongoing concern, my suggestion would be to remove the data via a third-party application or website.
Good luck friend, hope you find a better answer.
i dont come to /c/ very often, but when i do, i come here. And ive been wondering, how much of the threads is just repeated content from the previous ones? or is there a lot of new stuff?
>>2613185
thats a really good question anon. to be honest i have no idea. sometimes i see a familiar picture every once in awhile (frequently)
oh shit image limit
>>2613657
Sorry /c/omrades, it's been a very long day.
I'll make us a lovely new thread tomorrow - but until then, time for me to relax.
>>2613185
I've only been around for the last 6 months or so but there's a suprisingly large amount of Mugi regularly posted that I haven't seen
New thread soon!!
>>2614294
>Can't wait for more Mugi!
