why did it have to end
>>2579874
>mfw no 3rd season ;_;
>>2579874
Because Anon, the the ending of a story, like a death, gives a changed meaning to what came before it.
>>2580774
THIS FUCKING SCENE MAN
>>2580774
No. I refuse to accept this feel. Graduation stuff stuff hits me like a fucking train.
I only ever completed the first season for that reason. When they sang Tenshi ni Fureta yo at the assembly in the second(?) episode of the second season, I started crying and turned the TV off.
That was five years ago. I haven't watched anime since.

The episode with their last show at school is the one that got me. I wound up putting off watching the last couple of episodes for about a month before finally taking the plunge; it was anticlimactic to say the least. They end it on a high note that makes you feel like it really isn't ending at all.
Am I the only one who saw Azusa as a bit of an outsider to the group? The other 4 are pretty much always together, especially for the stuff like school trips, but it always seemed like Azusa was kind of separate from the others. Like it wasn't a big deal if she wasn't around. The summer episode where she has all those dreams makes it seem like they didn't really talk much outside of school. And at the fireworks show, Yui is dragging her into a crowd and loses her grip on Asuza, but she doesn't turn back to look for her, the others just keep on going, completely oblivious that she's missing.
I just feel like Azusa is that token character, that's technically in the group yet still isn't actually a part of it, like a tagalong kid or something. Feels bad man ;_;
>>2581448
>Am I the only one who saw Azusa as a bit of an outsider to the group?
I don't think she is, it's just that she is split between the keions and Jun/Ui.
Sure as a student in the previous year she doesn't get to be with them all the time but I definitely think she was very much a part of the group, certainly a lot more than a "token character" as her episodes are some of the most important in the series.
>>2581448
Azusa is the token black kid so they expect her to get lost first.
>>2581264

>>2581465
Did you make that collage?
>>2582554
I did, I think someone made a Yui one at some point too but I can't find it on my hard drive
Here's the template if you want to make your own
>>2582557
Oh, cool! I actually have the Yui one already, and I asked because I saw the person who made this one mention something about an Azusa one, and when I saw you posting it now, I wondered if both were made by the same person. But I got my answer there already, so that's covered. Anyhow, I have to say they're both very lovely! Great work! Also, thanks a bunch for the template; I've been meaning to make my own for some time, and this will really help!
>>2582578
I made one of Yui too, if you want I can post it.
>>2578333
i just noticed he got fucking trips of 3 in the post he said season 3 confirmed

You're welcome.I tried my best making it
Have some OC
Not sure why I've never seen this yet
>>2584384
Or this
>>2584384
>>2584431
They're so cute
They should make a new series just with Ritsu and Mio desu
Here's one of my favourites..
>>2584976
The movie is chock-full of gold that gets glanced over, lemme tell ya.
I've still got a bunch more to make, that to my knowledge haven't been posted here before.
>Looking at K-On guitar tabs
>Instruments are labeled with Yui, Azusa, Mugi and Mio
>Drums simply labeled "drummer"
That's very offensive on seven different levels.
>>2585505
What song did ya wanna learn? I've given up trying to learn their stuff. I can play maybe 3 songs in my own, somewhat simplified way. Kinda demotivates me a bit.
>>2585521
It was U&I, which is my favorite song of theirs. I learned most of their songs by ear, but there's a third guitar to that song I couldn't quite isolate in my head.
I'm actually looking at it as a reference for a cover I started making in Famitracker. If I decide to finish it, I might make a series of 8-bit K-On covers and put it on YouTube or something.
>>2585525
That's pretty cool, you should do it. I'm sure all the people that browse here would like it. I made some demo recordings myself a while ago, I was considering doing them again and putting them on soundcloud. I'll have to relearn U&I, it was one of the few I could play.
>>2585145
Yes please, more k-on gifs
;_;
>>2588333
It's always felt odd that they don't come back for Azusa. I understand that they were going for the whole "Azusa is makeing it on her own with Ui and Jun" kind of thing, because the whole episode revolved around her dreaming about the others. Not that I don't like it, just still puts me off somewhat.
>>2588346
I feel the same way. I kinda always had the feeling that Azusa was sort of an outsider to the other 4 even though she was in the band. Kinda of like that stereotypical tagalong kid that you'd see in action shows, the one that winds up left behind and never feels like they can catch up.
There's a number of times where the other 4 don't really seem to care whether Azusa is around or not, and this episode acts like they haven't contacted eachother all summer either. But especially the fireworks segment where Yui loses her hand in the crowd; she doesn't stop, she doesn't turn back, none of them do.
>>2588508
>stop posting things I don't like
>>2588760
>posting things that are literally incorrect again and again until people believe them
I've been rewatching the series recently and I wanted to ask some other fans; do you think the intro and outro songs fit in to the actual story of the band? Like, would those songs be part of their catalogue in the show or manga, or were they just created solely to be intros/outros? They're not mentioned in the anime so they probably didn't exist in that time period, but personally I like to think they're from a future part of their story, beyond what has been shown to us. Which just makes me want season 3 even more, goddamit
>>2588770
>"literally incorrect"
>has no evidence to support statement
go back to /pol/
>>2588816
the college manga shows them doing next to nothing so I doubt it but that doesn't mean the kyo-ani couldn't change the future for the better
>>2588835
I wasn't referring to the college manga, I meant a point after that. Anyway, I get the feeling that's not finished, like it was just given up on. It's a slice of life though so naturally they're going to be doing nothing of importance. That's why we like it.
I also think you and the other guy should not argue, this isn't the place. It's supposed to be happy here.
>>2588346
This is the closest I've found.
>>2588770
how is it "literally incorrect"? Please, I'd love to hear you explain it to me, since you seem to have the correct answer.
>>2588816
I feel like the ops should, just because it shows them going about their day and they are performing in the school, but they never talk about them. So I feel it's safe to assume both the ops and eds don't have any bearing on the story at all, past or present. So really, the only songs HTT knows are the 12 they play for the cassette at the end of the series. But honestly, don't let some faggot on the internet ruin it for you, if you want the ops and eds to have a place in the story, then go for it. It can really be what ever you want it to be, since the official series doesn't even make it past their first semester in college, until kyo-ani retcons it when they release a 3rd season.
>>2588835
Ritsu makes friends with a lesbo, Yui forces a friendship on a dyke, and Mio bonds with a girl over the issues that come having big boobs, how is that nothing! In all honesty though, I feel like we would of been better off not having the college/Azusa HS mangas if we knew kakifly wasn't gana finish them, dick move man!
>>2588924
wait a minute, when do we see mugi's house?
>>2588925
>Ritsu makes friends with a lesbo, Yui forces a friendship on a dyke, and Mio bonds with a girl over the issues that come having big boobs, how is that nothing!
Everybody's always shady with the details when it comes to a synopsis of the manga; i had no idea that stuff happens but it's not like they make a ton of new music or move into careers or anything.............right?
>>2589092
>wait a minute, when do we see mugi's house?
Not her actual house it's one of their summer houses
>>2589092
Yea, no new music or careers, sadly(#FinishWhatYouStartedKakifly!). I think it only makes it just past their first semester of college. So like I posted above, it's really just a story of the girls adjusting to college life and the internal conflicts that come along with that. There is also the other manga of Azusa building a new light music club. It's a good read too, but I found that less interesting, for reasons that relate to the time in my life I read it. Just steel yourself for the worst place to stop writing a manga ever in the history of ever. There is probably worse, but I'm not emotionally invested in them.
There needs to be more death devils music, it kicks so much ass.
Reminder that ALL keions are love
>>2585095
That's actually pretty accurate, idk if Flare on makes sense for Yui but everything else seems to work.
>>2592043
Sylveon feels like a better match for Yui, but I can totally see Yui going for Flareon for the fluffs.
>>2588925
That's a sad way to see it, I think. In my opinion the intros and outros are some of their best songs, and I think they hold more meaning than their in-show ones, even Tenshi ni fureta yo. I guess that's just because, at the end of the anime, and the film, the outro songs are the very last thing you hear. So it had an impact.
>kyo-ani retcons it when they release a 3rd season.
Everyday I pray to Ahuramazda to make this happen. Or for Kakifly to make more of the manga. Did he ever give any comment on that? What does he even do now?
>>2592388
He's presumably laying on a pile of money from K-on merchandise royalties. At this point though, I'm not sure what it would take to get him writing again, and if they(kakifly and Kyo-ani) do have something planned, they are keeping it close to the vest. But with four years since the movie and three since the most recent manga was "finished", I still have a year or two of holding out for more before I give up all hope.
btw. maybe somebody have bigger res?
They really are a family...
Is anyone confident at all that there will be a third season or have we all given up
>>2592591
I didnt 2 minutes ago, but I do now!
save the keions
>>2593258
I'm not confident in it per say; but I still like to believe we'll get some new content to some extent at some point. I'm thinking maybe more of the manga, or some OVAS or something. Then if they're successful and show that people are still interested, a movie or 8-12 episode new season. I certainly don't think we'll just get a 24 episode season 3 from out of nowhere.

Is it K-on! day today? Almost all of the 1-st page threads are K-on! related.

Actually, there are enough manga material for at least 12 episodes season. But, sadly I don't see that happening IRL.
