You never knew people who got deep faith and I'm pretty much surrounded by them all the time. They usually speak to their God like they would speak with normal person, because they count them as part their soul and mind, being that oversees you and support you all the time, the don't count themselves to be "alone" ever, even if there are no people around. It's pretty hard to understand if you never was a man of faith, it may look and sound weird but it's their way to communicate with those in whom they believe. Why not? She is a glorius and strong leader that shows herself in divine light, very charismatic leader with unbendable will and ideals for which she is ready to sacrifice herself, strong and beautiful. She offers no miracles, no "salvation", but the ones who want to become strong with soul, body and mind will be rewarded and aided with her guidance and blessing, she is a symbol of ultimate resolve, natural power of humankind.
Every religion in general is based on fiction, so origins of "religious figure" matters not because all of them are just characters of myths and legends. My religious views are different from classic ones and are close to pagan ones so I don't count lady Satsuki as a center of universe and all creation, that's just silly.

Indeed. It's really hard to find artwork that was drawn recently and is worthy of posting or saving at all, most of art was drawn right until show ended or even before. I have this really crazy/stupid idea concerning pic related. What if klk was set in feudal Japan? And the kamui were demon armor? Satsuki would still get Junketsu but like Senketsu at first, it isn't at full power yet hence the black color scheme, but as the "being worn by me and not just forcing it on" comes into play, it turns pure white, thus truly befitting of the name Junketsu and enables Satsuki to utilize its power to the fullest.
Stupid I know but I just wanted to share.

Satsuki in Sengoku era would be like Nobunaga Oda I guess. They share almost the same mentality, harsh temper both are outstanding warriors and Nobunaga had a title of "Dairoku Temma-o", demon king. So having demonic armor in such setting would be OK, however Senktesu was never subjugated by Satsuki their relationship was based on mutual trust and they synchronized in the same way as it was in case with Ryuuko. Junketsu's overriding was the only way of proper use of it without being enslaved by it, since this Kamui have savage, animalistic personality that makes him a berserker, if Satsuki ever tried to synchronize with it, she would probably end up as Coldfiber Ryuuko or even worse, since she is just a human after all.

I imagined Satsuki to be more ruthless and intimidating than in canon since it's the Sengoku era. Gotta be made of sterner stuff during that time. So yeah, syncing with Junketsu would be a cakewalk and he'd HAVE to comply.

I mostly ignore it but it feels bad since most of threads are focused on them and on describing their sexual desires towards certain characters, since I'm not interested in such kind of things those threads are losing any kind of quality for me, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone. It's not like I don't have any obscene pictures in my collection but I'd rather have a nice discussion instead of reading about wet fantasies of sexually unsatisfied guys.
