Its not even about that. Bitcoin + blockchain is essentially a distributed database. Ethereum + blockchain + evm is a step forward - its a distributed computing system. Apps that can never be taken down as long as ethereium nodes are operational - gambling immediately comes to mind. DApps for casinos/card games/etc... I believe the idea that will make Ethereum famous the same way dark markets made bitcoin famous hasn't even been conceived yet.
The Ethereum network is not supposed to be a coin or replace bitcoin, Ethereum is a fucking platform.

Bitcoin will remain #1, Bitcoin will scale to VISA levels of transaction, fast and cheap through layer 2 implementations such as Lightning Network.
What you retards are hoping for (a "coin" that can scale to global levels, all on-chain -no other layers- fast, cheap, and with military grade encryption like Bitcoin, without no centralization of the network) it's a fucking fairy tale, because it's physically impossible.
Bitcoin + LN is the solution and it's good enough, just like TCP/IP + building layers on top was good enough.
Bitcoin won't do any of that shit until it's way too late. You watch.
Meanwhile ethereum is capable already of doing 28X the number of tps as bitcoin WOULD AFTER the implementation of LN and blocksize increase.
