Really good original attempt at shitposting. You went to the effort of finding something that wouldn't readily be reverse image-searched. The subject matter draws on a level of cringe that is often fabricated for comedy, yet is just quasi-lifelike enough to pass for real. I like how you added a tripcode to give the image more verisimilitude.

Overall I'd give it a solid 8.7/10. Some shitpost experts would rate this shitpost a little lower due to the low effort you put in the text field but the character of the shitpost is really endearing to me.

That seems incredibly prejudicial and also grounds to sue. Seriously, waivers don't allow someone to act illegally and with negligence. Any clause that lets them literally assault you isn't in any way binding. The MOST they are legally allowed to do is ask you to remove yourself from the premises.

So once again, under the assumption that you're not bullshitting, which I still think you are, because I'd like to know what shithole condones that sort of honorless, destructive nonsense, LAWYER UP. You have a case.
>>
>>1356613
I live in venezuela, the police don't care what's going on and there's no way I'd be able to sue them
>>
>>1356621
Well then the answer is simple: don't go back. Find a different, better place to play. If you can't, then don't bother. Airsoft is really a community game, and if your community is raw dicks, then it's just not worth it to keep taking it up the ass from them.

And for the record, I'd like to see that bruise next to your bbgat, so we can at least prove you airsoft, because even for Venezuela, the story seems pretty suspect.
>>

Anyone have a recommendation for a pistol thats:
>battery powered
>fairly cheap
>not shit

I've never been to an organized game, but me and my buddies shoot at each other in an abandoned house out in the woods a lot. Walmart-tier guns are par for the course and its nowhere near serious (dual wielding is both common and hilarious). I use a walther and a mac-10 (because walther #2 broke and the store was out), and they both seem to be rapidly going to shit. So really anything that wont break the bank and can be fired one handed.

Jing Gong Scorpion for a small light automatic, has a little stock you could use if you wanted to, or keep folded for cool points.

For a straight pistol, Tokyo Marui makes an EBB out of the Ruger P85, which is fitting given that it's a cheaper sort of pistol.
It uses regular AAA batteries for power (if that's a thing that you think is good), and the slide recoils, for some non serious cops & robbers, it's a nice fit.

They're rather cheap, so if you need to outfit a bunch of guys, or if you want to dual wield it, that's not prohibitively expensive

Cyma makes an electric 1911 which can shoot in full-auto if you want, that seems like it'd fit your kind of playstyle.
>>
>>1357827
>>1357847

These look pretty good. I know I wont find anything cheap that will survive a catastrophic failure to reenact Hardboiled, but these seem like they wont chew themselves apart like the other ones.

If you want to though, there's lots of pretty nice AEG pistols with recoiling slides for under $99, stuff that generally is of pretty adequate quality.
>>
>>1357805
>battery powered
>fairly cheap

Pick two. You can either get the Tokyo Marui MP7 or Mac 10 and get an AEP that's well made, or anything else and have it shit out on you with no parts available. CYMA makes an AEG 1911, USP, P220, and Desert Eagle, but they're all pretty iffy and once again lack parts.
Don't even bother with the EBB AEPs. They're super cheap, really weak, and the blowback is a joke.

WELL MP7 isn't really all that bad, especially if you fiddle with it (for the better) and use 0.12g pellets. Also with a lipo mod, which isn't all that complicated, you can slap whatever LiPo you have.
Long Hi-caps and short mags are also easy to come by, which is a plus.

I've owned around four of them and each one has been nothing but trouble.
The first two were Umarex branded ones where one had either a dead battery or fried contacts out of the box, which was replaced by another one where the gears stripped after one magazine. Later on I bought two of them for $50 and one had a cracked GB and fried contacts, while the other had compression issues and a stripped piston.

It would be a better gun if there were parts out there for them, but so far I've only found an upgraded cylinder, piston, and replacement motors.
>>

I see. Man, it scares me how different are opinions on /asg/ compared to my local forums.
Over here they're mostly recommended if you're absolutely positive it's what you want.

Mine works okay so far, I can't say for sure hop-up adjustment works at all, but for what it is, I really like this replica. But yeah, if something dies I'm not really sure if it'll be worth the trouble of repairing or should I just buy a MP5k by Cyma or maybe let it rot until I can afford a Marui or HPA engine up this piece of shit 50$ gun.
>>
>>1358044
>it scares me how different are opinions on /asg/ compared to my local forums
People here are either really picky (think audiophiles but in airsoft), they make statements based on anecdotal evidence or they simply parrot what they read/heard.

You should take everything you read with a grain of salt.

The prices in Finland are plain riddiculous and I'd recommend you to buy most of your stuff from Asia and other parts of Europe unless you absolutely need the items the next day. Gunfire sells Tornado brand neomotors which seem to be okay judging from the few clips I've seen, but I have no experience of my own. Sakke from AtomAirsoft is also selling them with only a little higher price, but they seem to be out of stock currently. AsiaAirsoft and AirsoftPeak sell SHS, Element and Commander motors for low price with free shipping. SHS is bit on the faster side, but has the best pinion gear. Commander has most torque, but whiny pinion gear. Element is in the middle of the pack in performance but the pinion gear is made out of cheese, I hear.
Taiwangun sells A&K / P&J neomotor and Guarder Infinite Torque motor. A&K motor is on the slow side, but has huge amount torque too. I'd only pair it with low ratio gears and semi only DMRs though. Guarder motor performs about the same as Commander HT, but the pinion isn't very durable.

Other good inexpensive alternatives are JG M-42 aka JG Blue, AIM F430, ZCI HS and ZCI HT, but In my experience those pretty hard to come by with decent shipping prices.

If you absolutely must buy a motor from Tradesoft, buy the SHS one. The other ones are very much overpriced.

I have a bootleg CADPAT laying around, pic related,

Felt like running around with SS-leto today.
It's still quite decent, but the leaves are currently in a where they are bright green which makes the inside part of the SS-leto too dark, so it was matter of a tiny bit less green or too dark.

Sitting still with rather with generally green clothing and not showing too much face works like charm. Movement and faces is what we see first most of the times.

Has anyone ever experience weird affects of elevation on you gun's performance? My VSR chronos at 515-520 fps when I'm at home, but I went to a site today that is about 900 feet up and it chrono'd there at about 400. I came home and chrono'd again and my fps is back to what it usually is. My AEG, however, was unaffected. I realize the air is thinner at higher elevation, but this was only 900 feet up. You are welcome. Just remember to say in the thread if you find them stocked.

>>
>>1359173
I have mixed feelings about it. At the price tag it should be near flawless, but mags are kind of leaky, they are relying on small pins so taking them apart is a fucking nightmare. I'm used to Hi Capa mags, Mk23 mags are awful compared to that. Also I hear they tend to fall out after some use, which is also awful considering they're twice as expensive and hard to come by. Outer barrel is plastic, which is a serious turn-off, I'm considering Ra-Tech parts which are expensive as fuck too, but it's my dream handgun so what the hell.
Also you can't adjust the hop-up without a tool, but it's just a handgun so I don't really mind this much.
Performance wise it's good, kick isn't super hard, but it's there, gun feels great seems very solid. Unfortunately this piece of shit shoots over 350 FPS so over here I can't even use it for CQB. Sometimes it shoots one odd, weaker shot, which I suspect has to do with spring not pushing the slide all the way to the front. Also happened during reloading when I just let go of the slide catch - pulling the slide so the catch drops by itself fixed that issue. I guess it's also a good habit.
I'm planning to HPA tapping it, to get rid of the mag and FPS issues, weather is ass here, and I really want to make it my main CQB gun.
Overall, if it's your dream gun, it's worth it, otherwise fuck it - it's a moneysink and I'm sure you can settle for a USP, which also gets all the holsters and adapters. Didn't TM make one recently? To be honest I kind of wish I got a USP.45 or something instead.
>>1359199
If you can try to force him to making this Rhinotek design which screws into the trigger guard. His just slides onto the rail.

>>
>>1358340

>>
>>1359208
>His just slides onto the rail.
Isn't that because the mk23 has some shit that stops the slide attachments from flying around blocking them somehow? I might be wrong since I still don't have the pistol here yet. It would be stupid to make an adapter that is going to fall if you so much as aim the pistol down.

In any case I'll ask how much would cost to make a HK/Rhyno adapter.
>>
>>1359214
And once again, on my local forums nobody mentioned anything about any of this when I asked, they all went that KWA could be even better than TM if they had more aftermarket support. YouTube videos were useless too, I found only one mentioning God awful mags.
I don't plan to sell it, I rarely do, but if someone offered me the same amount of money I spent for it, mags, adapters and all I'd probably go for it and get a USP instead.
>>
>>1359223
The MK23 one has a slight curve, from what I understand that's what makes it so snowflakey, even compared to other HK products. Hey, if it's tight it shouldn't fly off, but I would find it more aesthetic if it had the trigger guard thingie. There's a hole there just for this fucking purpose, I want to use it. Especially that no real-deal adapters omit this part.
>>
>>1358672
Not all chronos show similar results. When I've set pressure in my Mancraft to shoot 2,25J with UFC chrono, Madbull chrono shows about 0,2J lower results and Xcortech 0,2J higher results. I don't think all the UFC chronos show the same results either.

Your problem is most likely due to the rifle being bumped. Maybe something was able to move a bit causing a loss in compression.
>>
>>1359239
>if it's tight it shouldn't fly off
Comments in the page say that it fits tight and that it shouldn't fly off unintentionally. Let's see what they tell me about the Rhyno design and how much it would be.

Has the right length, has the Colt Moderator, which I like, I fancy the A1 upper, and it wasn't fully period correct anyway so who cares if I refit it for my own purposes (and at that, it's a toy, not a real one), the stock was plastic, which is wrong for the CAR-15 line (and for that matter, the thing wobbled like fuck), the handguards were closer to later M4 carbines than early CAR-15 ones, the front-sight post has a bayonet lug, which makes no sense because the XM177E2 never had one, nor would it be able to properly fit one if it had a lug, due to the different muzzle device, and while I was at it I got a much better pistol grip.

If I wanted a really genuine looking XM177E2 I would have looked at a Viper Tech, if I was willing to spend that kind of money.

>>1358594
The only other ones I found had detachable carry handles and fuck THAT noise.
Besides, I like the look and feel of the MagPul handguard, and I didn't see anyone selling the Colt Moderator as a loose part (and it would have resulted in a longer gun when put on something like an M4 or Mk.18, whereas the inner barrel is fit for the length of the Moderator on this one).

Handguard is MagPul, looks better and feels much better in the hand than the original generic M4 ones.
Pistol grip is PTS, much better grip angle and shape for me, it also has a better texture.
Stock is Amoeba Pro, sits MUCH firmer on the buffer tube, and gives a MUCH better cheekweld.
>>
Been thinking of installing a 7 or a 10" outer barrel in my 14,5" M4A1 and obviously I need a shorter inner barrel. Are AEG inner barrels compatible between models? Could I put an MP5 inner barrel on my M4A1? I'm planning on doing this (using an MP5 inner barrel) because its hard to find short M4A1 inner barrels and shortening one would make me feel like I'm throwing away money.

>>
>>1359265
I talked with them already.
the conversation in a nutshell
All the adapters are made in a way that is hard for them to slide off so its okay to use a non-bolted adapter.
They are okay doing custom adapters. The rhynotek design could break in pic related since it would be made in plastic and not aluminum like the real thing. They offered to print it in a different orientation or with some design changes to make it as sturdy as possible and they also asked me if I knew how long the bolt/screw was and if I wanted the screw done as well or if I had one myself.
The pricetag is 15~£+shipping on the demanded design. 10~£+shipping on the other design they already make.

How are the rules at your local field? Rules at my local field are allright in my opinion
>full auto allowed everywhere except a group of buildings in the middle of the field
>1,2 joule limit for guns capable of full auto, 2,25 joule for semi-auto snipers and 3 joule for bolt action snipers (fairly low limits for full autos because its a small field with lots of close range situations)
>shields allowed, can be destoyed by tapping on them or firing an airsoft grenade at them

How often do these big sales come around? I see Evike has 24% off. I havnt played airsoft in a few years and am wondering if I need to jump on this or if it'll be back in a few months.
>>
>>1364185
Evike always has a "20% off" coupon going but most items are already on sale or MAP so its useless. Just use the 3 free say shipping code since the shipping is usually more expensive than any coupon savings unless you're buying really expensive non-MAP items.
>>
>>1364192
I got 24% off on a ghk Akm, so that was pretty neat

Guess the margins on those are usually quite high.
>>
Hey /asp/,
how viable/necessary 'sidearms' are?
>>
>>1364400
Depends on the field, local rules, your "role", your main rifle and your attitude.
Not very viable for forest games with a assault rifle, very viable or even necessary when there are building involved and there's a 350FPS rule.
Also very viable for snipers and LMG guys.

>field rules
I'm fed up with this shit.
The only general rules that should exist are if you are hit you are dead, fps/joule limits and minimum distance limits depending on fps/joules.
Everything else is just retarded, pointless and troublesome because more rules means more chances of people breaking them (on purpose or not) to their advantage.
>>
>>1364676
How is 'no climbing on shit' going to lead to abuse, for example?
>>
>>1364185
Megastore has a better deal right now with 65% off. MAP rules still apply, but if you need regular stuff, like bbs, now is a great time to jump on it. Flyye Industries gear is also eligible.
>>
>>1363749
>400 fps limit for all guns except HPA
>1.5 joule limit chrono'd w/ .30 bbs for HPA guns
>3 round burst limit for EPAR guns
>players divided into 2 groups by skill level
>standard 10 foot minimum engagement distance
>no hosing, burst or semi only
and the best part
>dedicated "full auto" games with no where you are encouraged to spray people at 50+ rps
That last one gives anyone who wants to a place to speedsoft to their heart's content and seperates them from people who just want to play without getting lit up.

"No climbing on shit" is a shit rule period. With or without abuse.
>How is 'no climbing on shit' going to lead to abuse
Without going into details, if there is a rule that says "don't climb on shit" and you climb on shit, people are going to assume that no one is climbing on shit and ignore the top of said shit because supposedly there shouldn't be people in there.
>>
>>1364884
I don't see the problem. If someone shoots you while standing on top of something upon which they should not have climbed, you are not obligated to call the hit. You should, in fact, call the ref.

No climbing rule almost certainly comes from the fields' insurance policies.
>>
>>1364676
Or maybe you just kick out or ban the players who break the rules.

>>1364830

>I don't see the problem. If someone shoots you while standing on top of something upon which they should not have climbed, you are not obligated to call the hit.
Then you must be blind. You are thinking about just one rule, not about the sum of them all. Looking at it that way it is indeed quite simple and not troublesome at all.

>you are not obligated to call the hit
Yeah because that would work well, huh.
>get hit
>don't call it because X rule was broken by the shooter
>"what the fuck man call your hits!"
>"no, you should stop breaking rule X!"
we can go deeper
>don't call your hit yadda yadda
>you were actually being hit by someone that didn't break any rules
Totes not a problem, huh.
I could keep going for all day. Rules are counter-productive because they are unfair to those who actually follow them.

>No climbing rule almost certainly comes from the fields' insurance policies.
I've played in fields that allow it, other that don't, others that make you sign a disclaimer about how you are responsible for everything that happens to you or something like that.

>>1364908
>just kick out or ban the players who break the rules
Yeah, because a field wants to get rid of customers like that. Just look at how many people gets banned for minor stuff.
If the fields had to get rid of everyone who breaks one rule they would run out of players in less than a month.

Chances are neither of you (and most of the people in this general for that matter) hasn't played in a "ruleless" field since y'all act like it's some kind ref-less hell on earth. Ruleless fields are significantly more civil than your average field with a thousand stupid ass rules simply because there's no rules to break, which means there's no "THAT GUY IS BREAKING X AND Y RULE WHAT THE FUCK MAN" arguments.

they specifically say don't climb shit so you don't get hit by either debris or ricochet, even if it would be rare

you can kill yourself tbqh
>>
>>1365038
and besides

if there was a no climbing rule and someone didn't call a hit from you climbing on shit, what the fuck are you gonna do? cry to the ref because "waaah he's not calling hits because I decided to be a monkey and not listen to the rules"
>>
>>1365047
>someone didn't call a hit from you climbing on shit, what the fuck are you gonna do?
It's not about what you are going to do it's about the problems that breaking rules leads to and the advantage that someone breaking rule has over those who don't. Read my posts again if you got lost somewhere in the discussion.

If there is a no climbing rule and you climb on top of something and hit someone that didn't see you, what the fuck is he gonna do? cry to the ref because he got hit by someone breaking a rule? oh wait he can't because he didn't see you breaking the rule to begin with.
You all keep acting like you are going to be seen breaking rules 100% of the time. Now extrapolate that example to other rules and you'll see that I'm right if you are not totally in denial.
>>
>>1365036
Nobody is going to take you seriously when you argue that safety restrictions are impossible as a concept. And they're certainly not going to bother arguing about it.
>>
>>1364975
Do you not understand how joule creep works with HPA guns? If I were to set up a HPA gun to shoot 1,5J with 0,30g bbs, I'd shoot lot less with 0,25g and 0,20g bbs. If I were to set the dwell for 0,45g bbs, but the pressure low enough for 0,30g bbs shoot 1,5J, I would be able to play shooting probably closer to 2J with the 0,45g bbs.
Guns have to be tested with the bb that the player uses to play.
>>
>>1365071
You keep talking about climbing on stuff. That was one example of a rule(not even provided by me, mind you). I never talked specifically about climbing, I talked about unnecessary and sometimes overly limiting rules.
If someone shouldn't be taking others seriously that should be me, since seems like NONE of you still comprehend what this is about.

And "not climbing" for safety reasons is not a 'game rule', it's a safety measure. For me that's what makes those two things entirely different even though in the end they are stopping people from doing exactly the same.
>>
>>1365127
>If someone shouldn't be taking others seriously that should be me, since seems like NONE of you still comprehend what this is about.

You know if not a single person has been able to comprehend what you're trying to say maybe it's because you're absolutely shit at expressing yourself. What the fuck ARE you talking about? Try to express yourself instead of just acting like an angry child. Because acting like an angry child is what makes everyone dismiss everything you say.

>And "not climbing" for safety reasons is not a 'game rule', it's a safety measure.

If something is prohibited as a safety measure then it's actually way way more important than the game rules. The safety measures are about fire hazard and risk for injury. Actual REAL danger of heatl, not just some arbitrary rules made up by the people who run the place. Safety regulations.

If you can't respect safety regulations then you shouldn't be anywhere near anything that could discharge a projective. Not even toy guns. Not even a fucking nerf gun. Because you clearly can't understand the concept of safety.

And you wonder why everyone thinks you're 14 years old?
>>
>>1364966
>Yeah, because a field wants to get rid of customers like that
Of course you'll kick out the players who cause discomfort for the whole userbase. Would you rather lose most of your customers who play fair or only couple ADHD kids with authority issues? If the organizators are constantly banning and kicking out players, there's probably somekind of issue within the organization. Why are the players not following the rules? Do they know the rules? Do they intentionally break the rules even if they know them? Are the rules hard to follow? Are they too vague?
>customers
Have you considered the possibility that not all of the fields are businesses? None of the fields around here create any meaningful revenue. Some fields are completely free to play while others charge only couple euros so that they can pay the rent for the land.
>Chances are neither of you (and most of the people in this general for that matter) hasn't played in a "ruleless" field
I have. AEGs were shooting hotter than pimped out BASRs. The opposing players required a lot of convincement that they were hit. Sure was fun. For obvious reasons, that field doesn't exist anymore.
>>
>>1365147
>I have. AEGs were shooting hotter than pimped out BASRs. The opposing players required a lot of convincement that they were hit. Sure was fun. For obvious reasons, that field doesn't exist anymore.
pollack here, that's more or less what happens on majority games I'm playing. There's no point to carry a LMG or BASR, there's at least one agry dispute each game if there's more than a handful of players. Usually one team dominates the other, which is full of newbies.

>if not a single person has been able to comprehend what you're trying to say maybe it's because you're absolutely shit at expressing yourself
I made my point very clear. I even said that I was talking about rules in general and not specifically about climbing in different posts. Not my fault people think this is about climbing and nothing else.
>What the fuck ARE you talking about?
I'll say it once again. I'm talking about how unnecessary game rules cause trouble more often than not and how the people breaking said rules are at an advantage compared to those who don't break them, thus making rules unfair.
>instead of just acting like an angry child
I didn't act angry at all. If you are going to dismiss my posts based on the delusion that I'm angry just say it and I'll stop posting. I have no need to waste time explaining why rules are retarded for the 100th time if you are going to stay in denial and pretend like my posts are fueled by rage or something on those lines.

>If something is prohibited as a safety measure then it's actually way way more important than the game rules.
Nowhere I said otherwise. You STILL don't understand that my problem is with game rules, not safety rules.
If the field enforces a no-climb rule (or any other rule) for safety reasons I have nothing against it. My problem is with game rules.
I'll give you some examples since that seems to be the only thing that works:
>having to show 50% of your body when shooting someone
>semi-auto only, no matter what replica or fps/joule you have
>can't shoot through anything unless it's big enough for a person to go through
>can't stay in the same spot for more than 5 minutes
Those are the rules I'm talking about. Those rules are a detriment to the game and are not enforced for safety reasons.

>>1365147
>AEGs were shooting hotter than pimped out BASRs

Hey /ASG/
Got a 1911 here but I'm having trouble with proper cycling.
Whenever the magazine is empty and I fill it with gas, it will function normally- but when I put a loaded mag into it and try firing, the gun immediately jams, with the nozzle buried in the back end of the barrel and the barrel a bit forward, whenever I press the barrel back it puts it back to it's normal state but will do the same thing on the next round. I feel it could either be a magazine problem or barrel issue
Any ideas?
