That's same was where I play and my favorite thing to do is clear buildings. Just remember that it's really hard to hear quiet movements outdoors so it's easy to sneak up on people. Keep moving quickly and you'll be fine, people won't be able to communicate fast enough if you get behind enemy lines so you can take everyone by surprise. It's easiest to clear buildings when there are 2+ enemies because they often assume their back is safe if they have friendlies near by. When you clear buildings you get to be in control of how fast/far you move. Try to keep all that in mind, just remember you are the the one who knocks.

I recently started playing airsoft and I have run into a bit of a issue. The AEG that I bought has pretty poor trigger response. I find in semi auto it has a pretty poor ROF and sometimes if I press the trigger too quickly it will almost seize up. Would getting a high torque motor help this problem and if so would it increase the FPS of my rifle.
TLDR: Rifle fires slow on semi how do I make it faster

The cheapest solution is to stick it on auto and fire in short bursts, trigger response be damned.
Otherwise, installing a MOSFET will improve the situation. A high torque motor may help as well, but it shouldn't increase the FPS any - that's spring territory.

Sub-quality parts, sub-quality QA. If you push that thing faster with, say, an 11.1v Lipo or a stronger motor, it's liable to tear itself apart and strip your piston at the very least, if not crack your gearbox or strip a main gear.

If your gun locks up, either the battery is half dead or the motor is too weak to pull your gearbox. The problem can also be inside the gearbox if it hasn't been assembled well or has a riddiculously strong spring.
Either way, you should first buy as big 7,4 LiPo battery as you can fit inside your gun. If your gun still keeps locking up, you should look inside the gearbox. A high torque motor might solve the problem, but it's more like a temporary band-aid for the underlying problem. It will enhance your trigger response and rate of fire though. Stock motors should be able to pull M120-M130 springs, albeit with awful performance.
If you want to increase your muzzle energy, you should first buy a new hop up bucking, nozzle, teflon tape, silicone oil and an O-ring for the piston. After all that, a new spring.

What exactly do they complain about then? Only the hop up chamber, nozzle and couple other bits that never wear or break have different specs than other AR15s. The chamber is already good enough and if you are able to rub two brain cells together you might figure out that most stores sell different length nozzles. The gearbox shell probably doesn't fit other receivers, nor do normal V2 gearboxes fit ICS, but it shouldn't break as long as you know what you're doing. The internals are mediocre and definitely not indestructible, but at least the build quality better than with most chink rifles. The split gearbox design makes upgrading and maintenance a lot easier. There's very little downsides.
Are you perhaps one of those people who prefer CLI to GUI to feel better about themselves? Do you not want your life to be easier?
I mentioned PTW only to compare their internal DESIGN. I never claimed they were perfect with no downsides. PTWs have their niche market though. They are for people who want high quality and performance out of the box and have more money than time in their hands. SHS, neomagnets and fire control units existed back in 2010 but just like today, it required work and knowledge.
