Found a beetle, Stag I think, on one of our stucky floor pads. Managed to peel him off without critically damaging his legs, and peeled off some of the sticky gunk hindering his movements.
I flip him over and he tries to run with his freed legs, yet he can only scitter forward before flipping back over. I've made some decent process with the removal (carefully scraping away with needle), but does anyone else have any suggestions?
I really want to help him, but I also don't want to hurt him. If push comes to shove, what's the best way of humanely putting him down?
