Hey guys, today I was letting my African bullfrog soak in the tub to help him shed and my mom came in to watch. She has a thing where she obsessively likes to peel skin and pop zits and she reached in and peeled a big sheet off of him. He didn't budge or show signs of pain but I stopped her anyway. Will this harm him? What should I do to make sure his skin is OK?

If it came right off and frog didn't react I doubt it caused any harm. Tell your mum not to do that though. Frogs eat their shed skin.
What kind of joy do you get from having one of those as a pet?
They do look cool as fuck though.

Yeah he's fine. Like >>2120144 said, just tell her to not do that anymore.

I have a pacman frog, pretty much just a smaller version of an ABF. The main attraction to them is usually their willingness to eat, and the variety of what you can feed them. It's a pretty fun undertaking, plus they're fun to look at. Other than that they just sit there all the time

I'm kind of weird but I really do love my frog. Feeding him is a lot of fun and letting him go outside to hop around is fun too. He'll also sit calmly in your lap and climb up onto your shoulder/head like a lizard. He'll also let you gently pet him. Basically it's like having a giant, fatass lizard.
Some GABFs aren't that active or friendly, though.
