What would happen if I had a 2 acre pond and I put a single fish in it and just fed the hell out of it?

Would it grow to be some sort of record setting monster?

Possibly, but what kind of fish?

I was thinking a bream.

The record is only 5 lbs

A bird would probably eat it, or some other critter.

Bream usually hit a peak around 60cm. I'd imagine you can have one exceed this with excess food, no competition, no predators, a relatively clean/ unpolluted pond, and ideal pH, temperature and salinity. Personally, I recommend trying this out with a Wel's Catfish for promising results.

A fish isn't going to grow any longer than it's genes dictate possible. You'll just have a very fat fish.
