I need an advice /an/.
My cat turned 16 and for the last month almost stopped eating but lately he stopped at all, wasn't even drinking water.
I took him to vet like any reasonable person would to to have him checked, tests came out positive under every possible aspect and the doc said he's perfectly fine just old.
I tried feeding him like a little cat via syringes with a protein mix and some water, but after 2 days he sarted spitting it out and completly refuses to eat anything.
The fuck do i do? I got him when i was 10 and i knew it one day i'll have to say goodbye to him but fuck.. Why trough starvation, is it normall or the doc was a fucking faggot and didn't know his shit?

16 is really old and he's probably just frail at this point. Some animals just kinda stop eating when they know when their time comes.
You could take him to another vet, but honestly if there is something wrong with him what can you really do at this point? Keep him monitored and comfortable unless he's showing outward signs of pain then I would take him to the vet.

Take him to a different vet if you want to a second opinion. It sucks ass when pets get old. Unfortunately cats can't tell us us what's wrong with them. I hope you can find out what's going on.

I took him to the vet because i decided to end his misery.
It came out he had some kind of water in his lungs (i'm not a vet so i don't know the mambo jumbo they use) and i decided to put him down.
He passed out in less than a second, after 16 years his hourney came to an end...
