Is it safe for my cat to rest her head directly on the radiator for long periods of time? It gets really hot and I worry that she's boiling her little brain. It may be a coincidence but she seems to have forgotten how to open doors from the inside recently.

I have no answer nor cat, though where I live everyone's cats just love sitting on radiators hot enough to harm a hand. I have three thoughts: maybe they hate draughts of any kind or it's a seasonal winter behavior or radiators are available high spots nobody claims.
