i dont think that spider is a Wolf Spider cause the pictures dont look similar, and most of these wolf spiders are small, this spider loves heat and dont bite my dad while he was holding him, he just stayed on his hand and didnt move, we threw little peace of fresh meat in the little container and i dont know if he's eating it but he is just laying with his mouth on the meat and not moving, i live in israel and any information about this spider will help

Not sure, but it might be a giant house spider(which is about the biggest bro you can have in your home), although its legs look a bit too thick for that.

I was about to say tarantula wolf spider(which is a actually the original tarantula; tarantula spiders got their name from this wolf spider), but I doubt you have them in Israel, although they are supposedly common in southern Europe.

Try to get a better pic, and it will be easier to tell.

Some Lycosidae, maybe Lycosa sp.

>>2009797
your first guess was correct, the eye arrangement outrules any other family and Lycosidae can be found worldwide (except for the polar regions).

Spiders don't eat random chunks of meat, they eat insects. The spider is probably sucking moisture off the meat. You didn't give it any water did you?

Nice, that's a cutie. Pretty sure it's a female. Also, you might want to release it, since they are always best at caring for themselves.

I'm a bit jealous; in my neighbourhood, giant house spiders are never found inside, but only outside the entrances of the apartment buildings, meaning I can only see them in the summer.

My dad actually find it in a vacuum cleaner bin at his work, said he probably didnt ate in weeks its also cold now, about 17-25c at home and 14-24 outside
>>
update! the spider has kinda shit himself or i dunno what happened, but it has a brown dump covered in white, if someone knows what happened tell me i left it alone for 40 mins or so. oh and i got some food for it like flies and other flying insects
>>
after a few hours, the spider died ;-;, it did had air and i threw some flies and wet a little sheet of paper so it can drink, but the spider didnt touch anything, probably got an infection and made a last dump, i think it got cold after a hour or so it wasnt heated, ill update if itll come back to life

I think it was more of the fact of where your dad found it. The poor guy probably got the crap beaten out of him in the vacuum, and that just caused a lot of internal problems. At least he was comfy when he went, which is the best you could've done for him.
