Hey /adv/, first time posting here.
I could use some career advice. Is design/engineering technology (drafting & design) a limiting career? Is there opportunity for advancement? I'm worried that I'll be stuck making under $60K/year.

Do what you love, the money isn't important if its something you're passionate about. When you do what you love your passion shows through your work and thats more valuable to any company than even the most educated and qualified of people.
Don't turn 60, living the last decade or two of your life and realize you spent your life doing some boring shit you didn't want to do just because you wanted the extra cash.

That was inspiring anon, thank you.
What I want to do is build and race cars. But unfortunately that takes a lot of money.
