If you are planning on having sex with women in Southeast Asia who sell sex for money, or with women who hook up at short notice with random foreigners via hookup apps (most of these women are also at least gold-diggers, and as often as not freelancers, because slutting it up is not the local tradition, internet reputations notwithstanding), you're going to need to use condoms if you don't want to catch something. The risk of HIV/AIDS is probably slightly lower than you might think (not nonexistent, but not Subsaharan Africa high, either), but syphillis, gonorrhea, herpes, and other STIs are seriously endemic. Do it raw long enough with anyone in Southeast Asia who's willing to do it raw with you and you WILL catch something, because you're not her first--you may not even be her first that day.
