Why do black people in the hood sell crack instead of coke? Is it more profitable or something? The sentence for having 50 grams of crack is 5x worse than having 500 grams of coke. You could be a major coke dealer and still cop a plea and get a slap on the wrist and just quit after but with crack you'll go to prison for years just selling enough to smoke it. Are you less likely to get arrested in the hood?
No black people sell drugs, didnt you know about the "dindu nuffin" meme?

Hands up no crack
theres a ton of reasons, heres a few
>more addictive
>more powerful high
>easier to price gouge by selling tiny rocks for 10 bucks a pop
>easier to transport because its rocks instead of powder
>easier to cut to shit and still give a decent high
Crack is cocaine cut with bullshit that isn't cocaine.
It turns $100 of coke into $800 of crack.

So basically it's because poor black people would rather buy crack than cocaine?

Op here I did some research and it looks like a gram of (almost pure) cocaine turns into about a .8 of crack. The baking soda doesn't add weight and it removes a chemical from the coke to make it freebase. But a gram of crack is about 100 dollars and a gram of cocaine is about 50 dollars

Coke can cause a psychological addiction if used heavily for a long period of time, whereas crack will cause a powerful physical dependancy asfter very little use. The upshot of that is a coke user will buy some for friday night and maybe a bit for saturday, whereas a crackhead has to buy multiple times a day every day of the week whether they want to or not. Coke is also a lot more expensive, meaning crack is more accessable in financial terms, plus it sells for a higher mark up.
