There's a cute dadbod barista I always see at my local Starbucks. How do I get his number or interact with him in a level other than customer/barista? If it makes any difference I'm 4'10 and look approximately 12 (I'm actually legal).

When I'm at work and a girl shows she might be interested in me, the best thing she can do is make abundantly clear. A lot of customers are "nice" or "friendly" while checking out with you or whatnot and then they snap back to their normal personality. Even if a girl is super flirty and seems into me, it's hard to tell. Some people are just that way when they're nice.
Basically, make it abundantly clear that you're into him. Ask really leading questions. Ask him when he's going on break and if he wants to talk for a bit, etc. etc.
Everyone feels uncomfortable trying to ask someone out at work, especially when you work there so just keep that in mind.
Just pass him your phone number next time. Like the above anon said, it's really hard to tell when people are being flirty while you're working and it's also fairly awkward to flirt with a customer when other people are around.
