Hey so I've been wondering for a while, other than English, what language would you all recommend someone learn? I want to learn one but I don't know which. I can speak some ok Spanish but that is about it...
Improve your Spanish, it's a useful language

This.

If you have the foundation already it would be a lot easier. If you live in America it really helps with job prospects.
Thank you for the feedback!

We'd need to know more about your goals to give you a meaningful answer.
For everyday practical use, Spanish, obviously, assuming you're American.
If you want a language that'll let you travel someplace off the beaten path (where you'll actually get to use it, i.e. everybody there doesn't already speak English) then Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Indonesian ...
If you mainly want access to media and entertainment in an untranslated form, then Japan and France have unusually active and energetic pop culture industries.
If you just want to increase your marketability, we'd need to know more about your chosen field.
