It is, you just need to find something personal. I've seen plenty of cool sleeves on white people, anything from monsters (a metal guy) to various nintendo game protagonist merging together (a bit nerdy, but hey, whatever floats your boat).

Get a cover up. Laser is expensive and painful as well, might as well go straight for cover up. If I were you I'd just get something that you think looks cool. Don't try hard to make it meaningful or hardcore. Most important is that you drop serious money to ensure a quality piece from a good artist.
