I was working out of state in Iowa(from California). Took my fiance and was in out there and we lived there for two months. After this, we got into it and she was going to go back to California for a month or so.

You are in a physically abusive relationship and you should seek help at once. Breaking a minor promise about not masturbating is a meaningless problem compared to the far, far greater issue of her physical abuse. She's the one who should be apologizing. If a man asked his girlfriend to not masturbate, caught her and started punching her then it would not be a laughing matter. You have equal feelings.
