Believe it or not, self help books actually do help.
Even though it's not necessarily a self help book, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance has helped me a lot with shit. Puts things in a simple and optimistic perspective. You can start anywhere, that's what makes it so hard to start for some people because they're too concerned about where to start.
