Trim pubes and shave your balls. Against the grain, make sure you use a good razor.
Also shave any hair up the shaft, I know some people get hair there.

shaving your balls and getting rid of whatever hair you have on the shaft is usually the best idea
it feels a little breezy but its also nicer to the touch
for the rest just invest in an electric razor and trim it down a bit

Not all of it, leave it really short
This is the only thing that really works for me. If you have long for thick hair this will trim it down to the point where you can then use an ordinary manual razor to clean up any stubble left behing.
