Can I ask my professor to not give me a higher grade than a C? For instance, if I get a C+, will he make it a C if I ask?
I have my reasons.

I'm going to use this as a reverse psychology tactic.
The professor will be like, no fuck you faggit, have a B

maybe OP is convincing his parents to allow him to switch majors

Stop impersonating me.
What do you all think the chances are that he'll say yes?

Allow? Just switch. Hes an adult. He has one life. His parents wont have to live out his life, only he will. Don't have regrets; have courage to follow dreams. The hero comes at point where he either refuses or accepts what he wants to do. Ive met 50 year old men who hate their life. Why? They took the way others felt they should take.

Professor (not yours) writing here.
The simple answer is No.
Believe it or not, we have professional standards, and don't hand out grades randomly.
If you are determined to get a low grade, fail a few tests.

Maybe they are paying for his tuition?

GPA is not calculated with regards to c or c+. Why are you bothering a professor for this. I could understand if like you're a few tenths of a percent away from a letter grade change but this is spinning your wheels
