i get horribly uncomfortable watching people be intimate with one another in movies and tv shows. this includes everything from kissing to fucking. i normally look away and wait for it to end and have done that since i can remember but i feel like somethings wrong with me.

I go through this a bit too. I hate when sex scenes get in the road of story and I just look at my phone or PC and try to ignore it until the story starts back up.
My gf is pretty much the same. We like our own intimacy, but seeing others doesn't do anything for us.

you have intimacy issues, i have the same thing. even if you're in a relationship, if you're not comfortable showing yourself being intimate stop and think about why that is. are you really worried about it or is it because it's what you feel society would expect?

i totally agree. Ive really become disillusioned with GoT ever since they departed from the books by having a whole house of women be raped with no gain for the story. its the same shit as the walking dead, just a soap opera with violence sprinkled in.
sex in film is so formulaic. its refreshing when movies like Her and Blue Valentine shows sex truthfully, even if sometimes its hard to watch for that truthfulness its by far more substantial.
