How do you deal with anxiety and being massively insecure when all your friends and family have their own problems and I can't afford another fight with the mental health people?

I was kind of looking for something more tangible. Chainsmoking has stopped being soothing, drinking isn't worth it and in the end both of those on atop of all my other bullshit keep me from finding a partner.

I just took up running as a hobby. I run until something starts hurting, walk, and then keep running. I still feel sad.

What hurts? Also set goals. I know its hard to keep runnng when first starting but really judt fo a mile to start. You may throw up after but you have to push. Also waych the videos by yo elliot about success and stuff. And why are ypu sad? Do you feel inadaquate?

Leg muscles. I always pull one or two while running it seems.

I am a fucking pile of garbage and that makes me feel bad.

Dont static stretch before work outs. Do dynamic stretches. New studies static is bad. Do high knees, butt kicks, etc. also keep ur chest and chin up to mantain posture. Also r u sure ur not just sore? Run on pavement not cement. A lot softer on legs.

Also running is high impact. Try biking or swimming for lower impact. Also remeber to dynamic stretch and warm up.
