Cover a part with a trellis and grow some berry producing creepers on it so you have a sheltered nook. A small BBQ would be good, too, and maybe a small photovoltaic light, although this would be better for a patio.
Also look into a solar panel for phone charging maybe. South facing = lots of sun if you're north of the equator.
