So, I'm trying to figure out which 'friends' of mine are actually my friends. To start eliminating some, I must first resolve this dilemma: do girl friends ever take the initiative to text their guy friends first? Or if the guy doesn't initiate, do they assume he doesn't want to talk and never text him themselves? Furthermore, how often do girls feel like their guy friends with whom they hang out with irl don't actually give a shit about them because they never or not-often text them? I'd appreciate any help I can get on this issue.
>do girl friends ever take the initiative to text their guy friends first?
Girl's are sort of conditioned to be passive like this, even when they desperately want to be with a dude. Some have untrained themselves from being like this. Of course when one side never initiates contact it feels shitty. If it's not naturally bouncing back and forth, with both initiating contact, they are either bored of you or lazy.

If you have to analyze texting habits in order to decide whether or not your friends are real you're probably a teenager who has no clue what true friendship really means, and it that case it doesn't matter.

>tfw nobody has ever texted you first

>tfw very few of your friends even has your number
Not that they'd use it anyways...

pretty much this. different people have different texting habits. I rarely text my friends or anybody else. doesn't mean I don't care about them. just means I have my own life too.
why do you want to eliminate friends?
