For Australians. What's the best way to get rid of HECS? Is there anyway to reduce it or workarounds?
Thinking of joining navy (seems easiest of three) and getting tax free dollars to pay it off.

It's called getting a job, grafting your arse off and earning money son. That's literally all there is to it.

mfw they took away the ability to remove it by moving to another country a few months ago

Yeah...by earning enough to pay it off. Sorry you chose an arts degree.
RAAF fag here
Don't just get a job in the military unless it's something you will genuinely like.
Also, do your research on a job and always aim for one better.
I signed up straight out of year 12 hoping to do infantry stuff, my job is to literally sit on planes for 12 hours a night 4 days a week and I go for a shoot maybe once every 6 months.
Paying off your HECS in the navy would be relatively easy if you managed to get deployed on a shift for 6 months within your initial contract.
6 months at sea, free food, free accommodation, get back 30-40k in the bank.
Also full time is not tax free, Reserves are.
