Hypothetically speaking, let's imagine that there is such a thing as the most terrible person in the world.

This person is stupid, delusional, dumb, self centered, selfish, miserable in family, friends and finance, not to mention ugly.

Is there any future for someone like this?

This hypothetical person constantly drags down everyone arround him/her, nobody wants him/her (in fact, people hate him/her), has no qualities, is basically a weight for the rest of the world to carry.

Change is also impossible, it is a matter of nature that the life of this hypothetical character will always be like this - if not worse.

Assuming that everything I said so far is 100% true, can there be any humanity in this hypothetical character? Or should him/her consider suicide? This person would not only be doing a favor to him/herself by doing this, but also to everyone else in the world.

Keep in mind this is an hypothetical scenario, of a character written for a story, so there's no need to be supportive or whatever. Just tell me what you think would be the most logical decision to make.

Why would change be impossible? If this person truly wanted their life to be different, it could be. The fact that there is an assumption that this is a permanent trait of character means that there is a lack of desire or lack of effort to change.

The character has a number of outside factors that directly influentiate its life.
The subject also has mental issues.
The subject has been a weirdo since he was a very little kid, all the way to the present day in which he/she is 19 years old.

So even if he genuinely makes an attemp at changing, the character ends up in failure, further contributing to the notion he is nothing but a waste of valuable oxygen.

it seems to me the worst person in the world would not attempt to change, since attempting to change from bad to good is objectively good.

>assuming everything i said is 100% true

we'd have literally no reason to assume that.

The subject enjoys believing that because it's easy to feel that way. There's no way to fail at charity, for example. The subject can always choose to make someone else happy, but prefers not to because it's easy to wallow in self pity. Self pity has now become the subject's comfort zone. This makes the subject a narcissist on top of everything else. This, too, can change if desired.
