sexual trauma and poor body image are 2 things that come to mind that involuntarily can make someone "asexual" (if you're defining it as no interest in sex with others). basically associating sex with any feeling other than happiness/pleasure can cause a strong aversion to it.

Asexual here. I don't really know if you can become one just like that. I pretty much never was interested in sex all my life. I tried it out a couple of times to make sure I wasn't wrong and it was pretty normal to me, it just doesn't give me that much interest. I mean, it feels good to the body, but my mind has the same stimulation as drinking a glass of water. There's more entertaining stuff out there for me.

Just try to find something that interests you more than that, and see if you're not too attached to the idea of having sex. If you can't help but sexualize stuff and stare at someone's ass, rack, etc. or stop the urge of masturbating (though you can still do it as a form of release now and then, but not like "I'm so horny right now, I'm gonna jerk off"), then you probably can't be asexual.
