So I have hard lumps in my neck about the size of the red in the picture on both sides of my neck (but not symmetrical). I'm convinced its lymphoma or something but my doctor said these lumps are normal.
So do people here have lumps in their neck similar to the related pic? Should I go back to a different doctor?
it's probably nothing but getting another opinion from a different doctor or specialist never hurts if you can afford it. Even if you can't financially afford it right now the debt would be worth the peace of mind.

Lymph nodes, OP.
As you get older, these can burn out and "die," although it's not a big deal. They just get hard and kinda sit there.
If your doctor is sure they're okay, it's not that big of a deal.
You can always go to another doctor, but you'll probably be told the same thing. Unless there are symptoms to go along with it, stop worrying.

Come on, OP.
See a second doctor if you're still worried. Have an actual conversation about your concerns, get an explanation for what they actually are and why they're not lymphoma or anyhting else you're worried about.

I had two lumps on the right side of my neck and I got them checked by the doctor. She told me they might be because of glandular fever or this other viral thing. She made me take a blood test but it wasn't exactly conclusive. Two weeks later they just went down on their own so it was all good in the end.
Would recommend going to another doctor, maybe get their opinion on whether you should get a blood test or something

My grandfather had lumps like these and he did nothing about them. By the time he went to the doc, he had lumps everywhere in his body and in less than a few weeks after getting checked (he may have had them for over a year) died of cancer so you should really go get another opinin

Doctors don't know shit. I had to go to 3 different docs to get a correct diagnosis for my relatively minor problem. Other people I know find it the same... Please get a second opinion OP.
