I was trying to work on a guitar tab writer that generates tabs from an audio stream. I got it relatively accurate when I play slow clear notes, however fast notes, bends, whammies and chords I have no idea how to pull off. I started reading on how to detect harmonic patterns and it is fucking insanely complicated. I frankly don't understand the math behind it. I haven't found a similar app so it must not be very easy to do.
