18M here, i was just driving some friends home and i accidently side wiped a parked car and fucked up my side mirror. I panicked and booked it and didnt check for damage on their car. I have no clue where it happened so i cant go back or anything. Am i fucked? what kind of consequences can realistically happen insurance wise, etc.
Idk i just need some peace of mind and help figuring this out, ive never been in any kind of accident and im freaking the fuck out mainly because i comitted a hit and run.

There is no peace of mind to give. It's unlikely that you'd be caught, but if you are then it's as bad as you would expect.

Some states have a minimum property damage value for an unreported accident for it to actually be a crime, and even if it is, it's probably a low-level misdemeanor. So if you just scratched their paint a bit, nbd, just be more careful/less of a dick next time.
