Did not try to justify it. Just saying that if I work with/have class with a man who is weird (in a way that makes me want to bully him) and desperate (thus willing to take abuse), I tend to be less polite. If our relationship really matters objectively, or I value it personally, I'll be polite to a person even if they say things that annoy me. If not, I'll be rude right back.
