That doesn't matter. An independent woman of her age, with no kids to tie her down, will do just fine for herself. With that said, you need to figure out of she wants kids, if you want kids, and then go from there. Adoption is something to consider if you don't want kids now.
To me, age really isn't an issue--my mom is turning 46 in a few days and she's happily married to a 33 year old. She's fit and has an amazing personality, so it works. They get on well and compliment each other in many ways. It was a little strange for friends and family, at first, but now they absolutely love her.
