Alright /a/, been dating a girl for over a year now. I really love her. But i think we may have different perspectives on what kind of relationship we have.

So yeah, im probably retarded for feeling upset about a girl running out buying me a car.
But some of my friends, even before this happened, called my gf a "sugar momma" because she is always paying for shit. Idk, would it be rude to just ask her if we are actually bf and gf?
If you've been dating for a year, you guys are in a relationship.
If you are uncomfortable about the car, ask about returning it and getting a new car more in your actual affordable range (i.e. one you can meet the upkeep on your own).
Take this as a lesson in the future: be careful about venting to your girlfriend about your material needs.

either way, id have an honest talk, and say that gratefulness is the problem. you could never pay her back for such an amazing and awesome thing she did. talk about how when you woke up and saw it it was like experiencing every single christmas you ever had all at once, lie if you have to and say you ended up doing like a dance and yelling like a kid when you saw it.
but transition into how now you just feel bad she spent so much on you, and while you love it and think its amazing you also wanna 'be a man' and pay for your own car. kiss her, hold her, and massage her passionately while saying these sorts of things.
