How to remove locky viruse?
Have unplugged computer from internet and using a separate computer to research but i'm not convinced with what I'm finding.

If they're legitimate (i.e. they actually encrypted your files) then there is nothing you can do. Wipe the drive and start over.

what i do is start with clearing out fishy entries in the registry (run, runOnce, etc)
i disable every service except for bare minimum
make sure you've cleared cache/cookies and temp data for any and all browsers. DISABLE ALL EXTENSIONS/PLUGINS. if any browser is out of date, do full unistall and clean up any remaining registry keys as best you can
then, once the running processes have completely gutted, i get a scanner going and try to clear whatever it may pick up
if it does pick up anything, i google its behavior to see if any extra steps need be taken
i close with a defrag/reboot because most viruses i find are on some old cunts pc that has never defragged the motherfucker before
