So I've been thinking of pursuing a law degree. I've been leaning towards criminal law and procedure, but what would /adv/ suggest? Keeping an open mind.

being a lawyer is not a great idea these days

the market is bad and the education is ridiculously expensive. Not a good time, although as the other poster suggested, if you have a guaranteed opportunity when you get out you could still do okay.

Well, I'm using the GI bill and VA tuition assistance, so student debt doesn't worry me much.

there's no job market, and there's no job market recovery, are you listening? Just go apply at starbucks and save yourself three years of hardcore studying and probably make more money in the end (because you'll have three additional years of experience at starbucks)
