Let me tell you something. An old friend of mine refused to wear hats, any kind, didn't matter. He fucking hated to have one on. Why? Because he felt like he couldn't pull one off. He couldn't look cool or feel like he looked good or that I helped/ flattered his face. He felt the same way about his looks as you do. He told me one day, you know dude, you can look good in just about any kind of hat, outfit or whatever you put on. And I later found out why. It's because I didn't care if I looked fucking awesome in something, I knew i was going to rock the shit out of it even if it was the uncoolest fucked off thing you could find. The mind makes the man. You have to be comfortable wearing your own skin and love the way you are way before you find someone to be with. I used to be so inward on myself and introverted when I was young I hated leaving the house because I was worried about being me. Now, I don't give any shits because 90% of the people you meet or pass on the daily wont be there 5 years from now. So it doesn't matter, what matters is the you know you, and that you rock you, weather you look cool to others. Because when you know that you have love and confidence in who and how you are. People will be able to tell that you could rock anything simply because you know you can. And trust me when I say, the day you are able to be comfortable in your own skin, is the day you will come out of your awkwardness and shine the fuck on the better things.

Same goes for the opposite. Look, reality goes like this, beyond mass, or matter, or energy what we are back to is the first thought. The first cognitive thought, weather you call it god or whatever. Thought was first, the idea of a universe had be dreampt up before it could have been made. Thought rules all, now you probably don't believe that either because you just don't want to, or you have cognitive dissonance. But your thoughts really do shape who you are and who you will become, period. THE MIND MAKES THE MAN. not the clothes, or the muscles you get from the gym. When you are capable of being able to put more than 5% of thought into something you will start to perceive yourself in a better way. then, if you spend time with somebody you get accustomodated to their looks. something that might strike you as very odd will lose it's impact if it is familiar. i worked with SEVERELY disabled and missformed people. when i brought visitors to our sector, people tense up and leave again as soon as possible cause they are freaked out. but i can tell you that i thought most of the people living there are fucking adorable. i know how awesome they are because i KNOW them. i see their deformed faces every day and once you know how a face looks you don't care as much anymore. you focus on other things. like their personality and shit.
