I'm not anti-social but currently I spend most of my time either at work or home during one of the few days I get off (I don't have a regular schedule and could work pretty much 24/7).

Because of that (and the fact my main circle of friends live in another town) it's not easy getting people to do something with you, especially if you to work the weekends and have some mid-week day off. I'm looking for good stuff you could do alone outside of your own flat with potential to get to know people (but more importantly, have a good time and get your mind of your usual life) which however is not awkward to do so alone. It would be a plus if you could do said activity more or less spontaneously.

Any suggestions?
