I feel like shit and need to call in sick.
I've always hated doing this call.
can you give me some /adv/ and a script on doing this.
this is my first job in 3 years so I have forgotten or feel nervous again doing it.
I think I will be needing today and tomorrow off too. feel feverish and stuff.
should I text or call my bosses private phone (she gave me her number) or wait til half an hour before I'm supposed to start and call the workplace hope shes already at work

Go to the doctors and get a sick note, why not just email them?

usually if it's 3 or more days, you'll need a doctor's note. most places are understanding though. i know how you feel though, i ended up not calling in today but i've got this weird cold that's stuffing up my head and it's giving me a pounding headache.
Well keep it simple, something along the lines of "Hi, this is Anon, I'm calling to say that unfortunately I won't be able to come in to work today because I'm not feeling very well." and go from there. If you're leaving a message, maybe you can add something like "If needed, call me back for more details" or whatever,
I'd suggest you call as soon as possible, if your boss needs to find someone to replace you, it gives them more time to do so.
Anyway, don't worry, I'm sure it will be fine. Everyone gets sick once in a while.
