My grandfather's on his deathbed and I'm on the other side of the state at college. Should I drop everything and try to be there when he goes? I can't stand waiting to hear news.

Only if doing so won't be that big a deal. If it would severely interrupt your college goals, don't.

I know it really really sucks but you have to endure this. Because there's the possibility that you would go there, and your granddad doesn't die while you're there and you have to go back.
