Okay, I've planned to make a custom build computer for awhile now. My problem is that I can't seem to decide what operating system to use. I would like to use the Linux flavor Ubuntu, but all the games and most of the software I have is for Windows. I need some help deciding, here. Also can't afford Windows, so if I do get it, it'd come from the Bay.
Very le funny OP
but you might get better answers on g with your bait.

You can do a dual boot or run Ubuntu on a virtual machine. YouTube is full of tutorials on how to do both.
linux and all it's flavors aren't really good OS for your applications. gaming on linux pretty much requires a dual boot or virtual machine. add in the learning curve of linux and finding open-source 3rd party applications to fill the gaps of the proprietary software you can't use, I don't know why you wouldn't just run a windows pc and save yourself the headache
