What are some good sites for apartment hunting? My living situation is fucking awful... Asshole neighbors, absentee landlord, the whole nine. I have used Craigslist twice before for apartments but there have to be other options. Half of the listings on there are hot garbage with no pictures and bogus numbers for rent. I guess back in the day people used to use the newspaper. Does that even work anymore?

Don't just rely on the web.

Ask at real estate agents. While they mainly sell homes, many also manage or rent for apartment houses.

Check notice boards at local universities and colleges.
