Honestly just talking about the subject makes me feel better.
Get out and meet people. I won't lie and say it's easy. You could try going to random bars and talking to people, or you could go to a church, or you could search for clubs or classes in your area and try those. The only way to quit being alone is to be with others. Note, however that no amount of "not being alone" means you won't feel lonely anymore. That's something we can never completely escape as humans, and it's what drives us to be social.

If that's your only reason not to go try them out, then I think you'd actually be very welcome there. I spent a lot of time in religious organizations, and it's very common to have people come by claiming they don't believe any of it. That never stopped most people from being friends to them and treating them like someone that did believe the same as them. Keep in mind, however, that some people might treat you like a "project" and only have the goal of converting you, but that's kinda the worst that could happen. If you do look for one, try to find a big non-denominational church. Those are usually the ones with the most young people and laid-back types.
With the classes thing, just google intro classes for cool hobbies in your area. Art, sports, guns, D&D, whatever you find interesting. You might have to shell out some money to get in on one of them, but consider it an investment in yourself.

That might take a while and doesn't guarantee anything. I'm almost 30 and at 23 I took the initiative to change my life around, be more social, lose weight, get on studying something and shit.
