Hi fellow anons. I am a severely depressed high school student. I have finals in a week and I just can't work anymore, I don't have the mental capacity to continue. Is there any way I can get take a breather from school for a while.

As someone who passed high school and got into the top uni of my country, there is literally only one thing you can do. Set your emotions to zero and open those schoolbooks. Learn to make studying an escape from your unhappiness and give it your all.
For me, I feel uneasy when I don't finish all my homework resulting in that feeling that nothing is under my control, so getting my shit done is actually improving my mood too.
Pull trough, it's just high school and you will have free time after your exams anwyay.

if we could all just take a break from the world whenever we get depressed, the entire world would fall apart. the world doesn't care if you get sad.
depression doesnt go away because of a breather. instead, focus on school so you can geti t done, then spend your spare tiem fixing the things in your life you do not like, the ones that are making you depressed
